Thank you for contributing to Mission Restoration. Your submission of restoration data supports Canada's restoration goals under the Global Biodiversity Framework, the Freshwater Challenge and the Bonn Challenge.

Before starting, please read the following to ensure an efficient submission process.

• This form will take approximately 15 minutes (per project) to complete.
• We are collecting data from 2020 to the present.
• Projects must be at least five (5) hectares or larger. If your individual project is less than 5 hectares but your combined total project area is 5 hectares or more, you may submit aggregated data.

Examples of projects that qualify for Mission Restoration:

• Artificial regeneration: planting, seeding, etc.
• Natural regeneration: reducing the source of degradation, restoring natural flooding regimes (removing dams or barriers, creating wetlands), etc.
• Creation of wild gardens/yards for native species.
• Projects that range from repairing ecosystem function to initiating native recovery to fully recovering native ecosystems.

Examples of projects that do not qualify for Mission Restoration:

Any restoration project that is part of legally required mitigation or offsets under Canadian or provincial legislation as a condition of approval for planned environmental damage at another location. For example, habitat mitigation approved under Canada's environmental assessment process or habitat banking approved under the Fisheries Act.

Below are the steps to submit your data:

STEP ONE: Personal and Organizational Information
In the first step, you will be asked to provide your personal and organizational details. These details will be used to auto-fill sections of the Information Sharing Agreement for your convenience.

STEP TWO: Submission Data
In the next step, you will be requested to provide all relevant data required for your submission. This form will take approximately 15 minutes (per project) to complete and can include data from 2020 to the present. You can also choose to submit data in an Excel format.

STEP THREE: Agreement Review and Signature
In the final step of the process, you will be provided with an Information Sharing Agreement for review and signature. A copy will be sent to the email you provided in Step One.

Data privacy and sharing

• We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your data responsibly.
• Your data will be securely stored by WWF-Canada and will only be shared with Environment and Climate Change Canada in a summarized format as outlined in our Information Sharing Agreement.
• We will share the analysis of collected data with all contributors to ensure transparency and collective learning.

• To use this option, the organizational details need to be completed first. A unique code will be sent to the email address listed that will allow you to pick up where you left off.
