Our Story
WWF-Canada is dedicated to recovering wildlife in decline and reducing carbon emissions by protecting and expanding natural spaces while reducing threats. Guided by scientific and Indigenous knowledge, we work to preserve biodiversity in Canada and around the world through long-term nature-based solutions that allow wildlife and people to thrive.
Our Impact
Since 1967, WWF-Canada has worked to safeguard ecosystems across the country. Our efforts have driven conservation achievements such as the Species at Risk Act and the Last Ice Area, protected wildlife and habitats such as southern resident killer whales in the Pacific Ocean and caribou calving grounds in Nunavut, and supported regulations and policies that help our most vulnerable species. Through all of this work, our donors help us help nature.
