Restoring damaged ecosystems across Canada is essential to addressing biodiversity loss, strengthening climate resilience and supporting the priorities of First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Across the country, practitioners, governments, organizations and land- and rights-holders are leading important restoration work. However, many efforts remain fragmented, under-resourced or disconnected from the broader national picture.
Mission Restoration exists to connect, accelerate and strengthen large-scale complex ecosystem restoration across Canada, ensuring restoration efforts are supported, visible and contribute to collective national outcomes.
