Thank you for considering a monthly gift with
WWF-Canada

WWF-Canada is working towards a future with abundant wildlife, where nature and people thrive. To help meet the funding needs of our important conservation initiatives, WWF-Canada solicits door-to-door donations throughout the year.

About Door-to-Door Canvassing

WWF-Canada works with a reputable face-to-face agency called TNI (The Network Inc.). TNI canvassers can be easily recognized as they will be wearing WWF-Canada lanyards and have TNI/WWF-Canada photo IDs. Our door-to-door canvassers do not accept cash gifts. For safety and security reasons, only monthly gifts made by a chequing or credit card account will be accepted.

Should you have any questions, compliments or concerns about our face-to-face fundraising activities, please contact TNI The Network Inc.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does WWF-Canada engage in door-to door-fundraising?

Yes, WWF-Canada runs door-to-door campaigns throughout Canada.

How do I know if a fundraiser is legitimate?

WWF-Canada works with TNI (The Network Inc.) for our face-to-face fundraising activities. TNI canvassers wear WWF-Canada lanyards, TNI/WWF-Canada photo IDs, and refer to WWF-Canada branded materials on iPads.

If at any time you are unsure about the legitimacy of a fundraiser, please call WWF at 1-800-267-2632 at your earliest convenience.

Why does my donation have to be verified over the phone?

We want to verify contact and payment information for accuracy and your security. The call also ensures that donors understand the monthly giving program before completing enrollment. The call only takes about 2-3 minutes and prevents data entry errors or misunderstandings about the ongoing commitment of giving donations monthly. The verification centre phone number is 1-877-540-6464.

Why do you need to take a picture of my void cheque?

When a monthly donor chooses to give through automatic withdrawal from their bank account, the banking information at the bottom of the cheque needs to be recorded. The most accurate way to record that information is by taking a picture of the cheque. The banking information is then sent to us through a secured PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliant process.

To confirm the identity of a canvasser or to change your donor preferences, please call our Donor Relations team at 1-800-267-2632.

If you have any comments or concerns, please call us toll free or email [email protected].

Is my banking and credit card information safe?

Yes, all data is encrypted using software that is in a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliant environment. Any data collected on the iPads is completely secure and sent to a secure server. The information does not stay on the iPad, which ensures that your information remains secure and confidential.

Can I make a cash gift?
