Fall in love with our September photo contest: Leaves

From the red maple leaf on our flag to a pile of freshly raked oak leaves on our lawn, leaves are a part of Canadian culture. People watch them change from green to red, orange and yellow and then rake them into a pile and jump in when they turn brown and fall to the ground. They wear them on our jerseys and rally around their iconic image when cheering for our athletes.

It’s no wonder that Canadians feel a deep connection to nature when the leaves start changing with the season. This month, WWF-Canada wants you to share photos of the leaves in your community and how they transform the landscape and the spaces around you. Whether it’s a tree or plant, there are so many to choose from. Add your favourites to our photo board.
