The Specialist, Campaigns will collaborate with senior management, volunteer leadership, marketing and communications as well as conservation staff to lead the strategy and implementation of a multi-level stewardship and donor engagement program that fosters long-term relationships between WWF-Canada and its donors. The incumbent will work closely with the VP, Philanthropy and Donor Engagement in the execution and administration of all aspects of PDE’s fundraising activities with a goal to retain donors and upgrade donor dollars, and strengthening the major gift pipeline. This position will also manage a revenue line focused on donor-advised funds (DAFs).  As the organization begins the public phase of a major fundraising campaign to support its 10-year Regenerate Canada conservation plan, a growing focus will be to maintain and optimize a robust stewardship and recognition program.    

The bilingual Specialist, Communications develops and delivers clear, engaging and high-quality materials in both French and English to support WWF-Canada’s goals, as well as to enhance understanding of and inspire engagement in our work. This role involves writing, editing and translating a variety of materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency of tone, style, and messaging across all channels. The Specialist collaborates with colleagues across departments (Conservation, Marketing, and Development) to identify, craft and share compelling stories, supports media relations and content production, and helps promote and maintain the organization’s reputation and voice in both official languages. With a strong knowledge of the French-Canadian market, the Specialist will be responsible for adapting and executing on strategy meant to engage Francophones in WWF-Canada’s work.
