Molson-Coors employees commit to keeping our shores healthy

Some one hundred or so brewery and office employees of Molson-Coors in Montréal left work in the morning and headed off by bus to the shores of the St. Lawrence River to take part in one of two annual shoreline cleanups organized by their employer.

Grinning from ear to ear in their raingear and with the support of Panda, they got to work immediately. These energetic, devoted and motivated volunteers were inspired by their good deed and the barbecue that awaited them nearby and cleaned up the entire shoreline behind the Verdun Auditorium in a little more than two hours.
Their organizational skills were impressive. They split up the shoreline methodically and left in their wake a healthier and safer shore, a clean and pleasant park as well as a mountain of garbage and recyclable material. Once they completed their cleanup, they all enjoyed hotdogs and beverages—obviously supplied by their favourite brewery!
WWF is proud of the support of companies such as Molson-Coors which do their part to mobilize citizens for campaigns such as the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, sponsored at the national level by another one of its partners, Loblaw Companies Limited.

By taking part in these campaigns and inviting their employees to participate, these companies practice what they preach and inspire us to do our part. We all have the possibility of contributing to the wellbeing of our planet. Each action counts, and that’s what is important to remember from today’s cleanup by Molson-Coors employees. Thanks to everyone!
