WWF-Canada receives conservation award

Peter Love was appointed Ontario’s first Chief Energy Conservation Officer in April 2005 to head the Conservation Bureau, a division of the OPA. In a recent OPA press release, Love explained that the goals of Conservation Week are, to prepare Ontario to “better manage its summer peak demand period,” to help Ontario reduce peak demand “by 1,350 megawatts by 2010 and 6,300 megawatts by 2025… and to work towards a “culture of conservation.””

Like Peter Love, WWF-Canada loves to promote conservation, and we are honoured to receive the award.
