Statement on the disappearance at sea of WWF-France CEO Philippe Germa

WWF-Canada is deeply saddened by the disappearance at sea of Philippe Germa, a devoted environmental leader who believed in maintaining a living planet for future generations. We extend our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to Philippe’s family during this challenging time.

Philippe’s commitment to a thriving planet extends throughout his diverse career in government and green business, as well as his roles as both a Board Member and CEO at WWF-France. His warmth, intelligence and passion for the environment will be missed by all of us.
