Night’s End in Halifax
For a first time event we really didn’t know what to expect, but I couldn’t be happier with how it all went. I spoke with some of the people who came out tonight to see why they were there, and it was unanimously in support of this whole initiative – not just for the free entertainment and Timmie’s coffee.
It makes me feel like I am doing something right in my job with the WWF – that we are really starting to get through to Canadians, that people know we need to act now.
I hope that next year we can have an even bigger and better event, and that the year after that we won’t have to do it at all, because people will just know what needs to be done – that the fight against climate change is on all of our shoulders.
