Media Advisory: Registration opens for WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature

TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2016 –  Registration opens Wednesday Dec. 7 for WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature, Toronto’s tallest challenge taking place on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, 2017.
 
Those who sign-up and start fundraising early earn one Early Bird Draw ballot for every $500 raised by Jan. 31, 2017. The ballots are for a chance to experience Newfoundland and Labrador by sea, a cruise trip donated by Adventure Canada and valued at $27,000.

  • Registration opens Dec. 7 at wwf.ca/cntower
  • Early bird prize deadline, Jan. 31, 2017.
  • Public Climb on April 8: Family-friendly climb for individuals, families and groups.
  • Ultimate Climb Challenge on April 9: Competitive climb for corporate teams, fitness enthusiasts, first responders and elite climbers. For the first time, climbers can add the EdgeWalk, take on our rock climbing wall, reserve first wave starts to compete for record breaking climb times and more.

Background: More than 110,000 people have taken Toronto’s tallest challenge and climbed the 1,776 steps of the landmark since WWF-Canada’s CN Tower for Nature began in 1991, raising millions for WWF-Canada’s conservation work.
