MEDIA ADVISORY: Freshwater experts Monday at Healthy Waters Summit

OTTAWA, June 9, 2017 —  The findings of four years of research into the state of Canada’s watersheds will be shared at WWF-Canada’s Healthy Waters Summit in Ottawa on June 12. 
   
Along with revealing Watershed Report findings, the summit brings leading freshwater voices from academia, Indigenous communities, government, local groups and business together under one roof to discuss solutions for improved freshwater health for wildlife and communities that depend on this critical resource. 
   
Panellists will explore the power of citizen science, Indigenous perspectives on healthy waters, the role of business in freshwater sustainability, community action and the open data movement in Canada. Visit here for the summit agenda with a full list of panellists.
