Marketing Alliances Volunteer – Toronto office

Purpose:

The Partner Marketing Volunteer will play an instrumental role in researching and prospecting new potential partnerships to support WWF’s goals.  Some work may be performed remotely and/or from home with regular check-ins with WWF staff supervisor.
 
Responsibilities:

  1. Utilizing current prospecting guidelines, the Partner Marketing Volunteer will be responsible for researching and prospecting potential partners for WWF programs and properties including:
  • Cause Marketing
  • CN Tower Climb
  • Living Planet at Work
  • Pandamonium
  • Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up
  • Go Wild
  • Loblaw Water Fund 
  1. Critical analysis of partners to assess funding interest alignment to current WWF programs and properties and funding capacity. 
  2. Management of prospects and partners information in prospecting database. 
  3. Management of prospects and partners information in Raisers Edge.

Experience and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred) with a focus in Business, Marketing or Fundraising.
  • Experience using MS Excel.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in partner research, prospecting or corporate partnerships preferred.
  • Previous experience utilizing Raiser’s Edge an asset.

Additional Requirements
As some of the work may be performed remotely and/or from home, the following assets are required:

  • Access to internet and a computer with Microsoft Word and Excel software
  • Access to email and telephone
