CN Tower Climb a high point for WWF-Canada

With 1776 steps to climb, thousands of participants signed up to sweat it out for a good cause. Radio personality Maurie at Mix 99.9 produced the following video of his climb experience with a little help from WWF-Canada’s Tara Wood: http://www.999mixfm.com/media/703117/Planet Maurie’s CN Tower stair climb

The three girls in blue shirts in Maurie’s video are part of The Good Life’s ‘Fun Team.’ They kept up the spirit with chants and quizzes to stimulate both the minds and feet of climbers who waited for their turn to take the tower.

WWF-Canada has been holding the annual CN Tower climb for 18 years, over the course of which over 60,000 people have climbed, raising a combined total of over 6 million dollars for our conservation programs. I can’t imagine where we’d be without the help of these fantastic climbers, and our enthusiastic volunteers. Thank you to everyone who came out to climb, help-out, and cover this year’s climb. We hope to see you again next year!
