After Earth Hour, A Happy Monday
The numbers are still coming in, and later this week we will have poll results about the level of participation. For the moment, you can find information about Ontario’s electrical demand here:

The best news of all is that more than 5,560 Canadians are now choosing to make every hour Earth Hour, by living The Good Life. The reductions in greenhouse gas emissions the members of The Good Life are making now add up to the equivalent of:
-Taking over 1640 cars off the road,
-Switching 2957 cars to hybrids
-226,724,202 plastic bags NOT produced, or
-Taking 4,480 homes off the grid for a year!
Many people can relate to the feeling of preparing for a special occasion, holiday, or celebration with great anticipation, only to spend the day after feeling blue and wondering, “What now?” Thanks to The Good Life, there’s no need to feel the post-event blues after Earth Hour. We can continue taking steps toward building a climate friendly lifestyle- the click of the light was just the beginning.
