As a WWF-Canada volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role. Your time, talents and skills will help us accomplish our mission to stop the degradation of our planet’s natural environment and build a future where humans live in harmony with nature. The WWF-Canada’s Toronto office is accepting applications to find volunteers to connect with past and current Climb for Nature event participants. Please read below for more details.
Purpose & Responsibilities
Volunteers will call past Climb for Nature participants, or individuals who have signed-up to participate in the upcoming 2026 event, to let them know that our website is now live, discuss early-bird specials, fundraising rewards and prizes, and/or offer them support and tips on fundraising. Volunteers will not be doing any type of cold calling.
Volunteers will ask the participants 2-3 brief questions and log their responses into a spreadsheet.
Volunteers may also assist with other tasks, which include putting together welcome packages, alongside staff organizing items the week before the event, or other tasks as related to the Climb for Nature event in Toronto.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and we may close this posting before the advertised date if we identify a suitable candidate pool. We encourage you to apply early and thank you for your interest in volunteering with WWF-Canada.
If you would like to be added to our volunteer pool, please fill out the volunteer application form below. We will keep your application for a period of one year. During this time, we will reach out if a suitable position for your interests and skills becomes available. The volunteer pool application allows you to apply to volunteer with any of the departments within WWF-Canada, including our conservation teams.
