WWF-Canada Launches Origami Wilderness in Toronto’s Financial District
NOVEMBER 19, TORONTO, ON – On Tuesday, November 24 at 12 noon, David Miller, President and CEO of WWF-Canada will be on-site at 200 King Street West to officially unveil a one-of-a-kind origami wilderness art installation that’s 10 feet-high by 24 feet wide and made of faux Canadian money. The origami plants, animals and flowers represents the organization’s new campaign #WeAreAllWildlife and is a reminder that nature and the economy must work together to sustain healthy communities.
The installation space at 200 King Street West has been generously donated by Living Planet at Work supporter Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP and will be in place until December 1, 2015.
