Have you ever dreamed about suiting up as the famous Panda mascot for WWF-Canada? Well, here is your chance! We are holding our Panda Mascot Recruitment and Training session on:
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26 at 9:30am.
 
Due to the growing number of events, functions and public appearances Panda is scheduled to attend, we need to grow our Panda mascot roster. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please review the requirements listed below. If you feel you are a qualified candidate, please submit your application online to the web address listed below. 
 

Requirements:

  • Friendly with an easy-going, approachable disposition
  • Athletic and flexible (must be able to: stand, walk, kneel, crouch, sit and move easily)
  • Able to excite, motivate and entertain small and large groups
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Be of good moral character
  • Able to engage and respond to people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Able to perform indoors and outdoors; performing within a variety of weather conditions
  • Comfortable working with and around people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Able to travel in and around the Toronto area

Please note:

  • Previous mascot experience is considered an asset but not required.
  • The Panda costume is completely enclosed and has a narrow field of vision.  Those who suffer from claustrophobia and/or balance disorders are cautioned to consider their reactions to an enclosed environment before applying.
  • Panda mascot volunteers MUST be 18 years of age.

Directions

Our office is located at: 245 Eglinton Avenue east (south-east corner of Mt. Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East). The Recruitment/Training session will start at 9:30am sharp and will run until approximately 11:30am.  Lunch will be provided afterwards.
