Major Gifts Specialists (3 positions)

The 3 Positions: 
Reporting to the Director, Major Gifts and Planned Giving, WWF-Canada is seeking three major gifts specialists: The Senior Specialist, Foundations & Government Funding will work with current foundation partners, secure new foundation and government grants.  The two new Senior Specialists, Major Gifts will develop the successful strategies to generate major gift support through the cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship of prospects and donors for the campaign and ongoing major gifts programs.
 

  1. Senior Specialist, Foundations and Government Funding, World Wildlife Fund Canada, Toronto, ON 

This position is the lead staff person working with top foundation donors and government grants, and WWF Conservation Teams to provide reports and stewardship and to seek new opportunities.

Candidates with the following experience are invited to apply:

  • Seven years (minimum) experience in grant writing and/or fund development
  • Demonstrated ability to research, prepare and present Foundation and Government proposals
  • Detail oriented; able to manage and fulfil complex funding reports and schedules
  • Experience working collegially, collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to provide accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • CFRE preferred
  • Post-secondary degree
