Legacy Giving Assistant Volunteer

Position Description:
The Legacy Giving Assistant volunteer will assist the Legacy Giving team in all aspects from strategy creation to implementation.  Record-keeping and donor analysis will be a major component to the position.

Where:
Toronto office – 245 Eglinton Avenue East
(South-east corner of Mt. Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East)
 
Start Date:
December 2016
 
Commitment:
4 hours/shift; 1 shift/week
Must be available on: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday; 10:00am – 2:00pm
 
Duration:
Minimum 6-month commitment
 

Responsibilities:

  • Donor Analysis; identifying donors who have identified WWF in their will
  • Donor outreach and communication (phone and email)
  • Strategy creation to identify new legacy-potential donors
  • Survey creation, implementation and analysis
  • Newsletter creation

 Experience and Skills:

  • A passion for wildlife
  • A team player who can also work well independently
  • Superior communication skills (listening, speaking and writing)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer savvy (internet, email, MS Office Suite; especially MS Excel)
  • Previous experience with Raiser’s Edge desirable
  • Research and analysis experience desirable
