Position Description

The Healthy Waters Summit Intern will help the Freshwater Team with the planning and logistics of the Healthy Waters Summit, occurring on June 11-12, 2017, specifically around managing the RSVP list, hotel bookings, reaching out to invitees and any other logistical responsibilities as required.

Toronto ON M4P 3J1
(South-east corner of Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road)

Committment

THURSDAYS – March 2 2017 – June 8, 2017
(Either a 4-hour shift in the mornings or afternoons; availability for a full day committment is preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Managing the RSVP list
  • Managing hotel room bookings
  • Calling invitees who have not responded to the invitation
  • Attending HWS planning meetings
  • Providing necessary information to the Freshwater Team
  • Other logistical duties as required

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous event experience a strong asset
  • Previous Raiser’s Edge experience an asset
