Database Assistant Volunteer

Where: WWF-Canada’s Toronto Office (245 Eglinton Ave. East, Toronto)
When: Starting immediately with a minimum 6 month commitment
Shifts: One four hour weekday shift per week (see below for specifics)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Database Manager with the maintenance of our database Raiser’s Edge
  • Preform clean-up, updates and merging of duplicate donor records 
  • Assist with various MS Excel projects

Experience and Skills:

  • Fast & accurate typing, data entry & word processing skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail with a regard for quality and precision
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word)
  • Previous database and/or data entry experience preferred

  • Independent worker with an aptitude for solving problems
  • Keen learner with a strong interest in environment conservation and a passion for creating positive change

Shift options:

  • Tuesdays 9 am – 1 pm
  • Thursdays 9 am – 1 pm
  • Fridays 10 am – 2 pm 
  • Fridays 1 pm – 5 pm
