We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join WWF-Canada’s People & Culture team to help us source our most valuable resource, our people. As a Specialist, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible to ensure an inclusive recruitment and selection process, from job creation through to offer, for every candidate while ultimately sourcing the best talent to drive WWF-Canada’s ambitious strategic plan forward.


  • Manage full cycle recruitment process and ensure a seamless, consistent, and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job analysis, job descriptions, and job postings that accurately and effectively communicate the needs and requirements of the role.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms to source diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Network through professional groups, employee referrals, and more to source candidates for hard to fill roles.
  • Coach and support hiring managers and hiring teams on effective interviewing techniques that limit bias and support a positive candidate experience.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend interviews and follow-up discussions with candidates and/or interviewers.
  • Develop effective tools such as rubrics to support a bias-free selection process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all milestones of the recruitment and selection process and be the primary contact for candidates.
  • Manage the offer process by drafting offer letters, coordinating signatures, extending offers to candidates, and negotiating offers.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition between the recruitment process and the onboarding process.
  • Share best practices and develop tools to support an inclusive recruitment and selection process.


  • 3-5 years of experience managing full lifecycle recruitment (both technical and non-technical roles), preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience and comfort working with applicant tracking systems (currently using ADP Workforce Now) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with hiring managers to effectively understand role needs and convert them to a candidate-focused career opportunity.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a positive, efficient, and inclusive recruitment and selection process
  • Familiarity with developing and using selection tools (ie. Rubrics) to support objective decision making in the hiring process.
  • Strong networking skills, responsible for sourcing candidates at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), combined with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • CHRP/CHRL candidates considered a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of employment and related legislation (Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English/French is an asset.
  • Awareness and understanding of WWF-Canada’s mission and objectives.

This is a two-year contract opportunity and can be based out of any of our WWF-Canada offices
