Wildlife Wednesday: Hummingbirds

In this edition of Wildlife Wednesday, WWF-Canada botanist Ryan Godfrey teaches us all about hummingbirds and how you can attract these beautiful creatures to your garden.

I know, the idea of hummingbirds flying around your garden sound like a dream, right? Well, one of the best ways to make it happen is by providing native plant habitat for these little birds to feed on when they zip through your yard.

There are over 330 species of hummingbirds in the world and five of those species can be found here in Canada. Do you know what all five of the Canadian hummingbird species are?
