Join Panda Pack in stepping up for nature #VirtualCNTowerClimb

Over the years, WWF-Canada’s internal Climb team, Panda Pack, has been a leading fundraiser for WWF-Canada’s CN Tower Climb for Nature. Now in its 30th year, this event will be one for the record books. Not only is it a milestone achievement for the organization, it’s also occurring under extraordinary circumstances given the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although these are unprecedented times, and we’re learning as we go, we do know one thing for sure: wildlife still needs our help. That’s why Panda Pack is leaning into this challenge, more determined than ever to turn it into an opportunity for innovation and creativity in support of nature.

Even though we’re all in different locations, Panda Pack will continue to rally together. We will strive to reach our ambitious fundraising goal right up until the weekend of the Virtual Climb (April 4 and April 5). Although these are uncertain times, we will stay resilient while maintaining our connection with each other and our passion for the cause.

We invite you to join us!

Or, if you prefer to start your own Virtual Climb team, it’s not too late. Here are some fun ways to help you get started.

One part of the Virtual CN Tower Climb that’s got all of us excited is that it’s a new opportunity to connect with individuals in Canada on all three coasts. We can now invite colleagues, friends and family members, who otherwise wouldn’t have had the chance to come to Toronto, to join our team — or start their own!

On April 4 and 5, our Panda Pack members will build up a sweat for nature by participating in virtual fitness challenges in real time. Our team members have the options to participate in the:

  • Regular challenge: 1,776 seconds of a virtual fitness class (about 40 minutes).
  • Elite challenge: 144 continuous minutes of a virtual fitness class.

By fundraising and training, we will continue to build our team spirit and reach wildlife supporters across the country. Although we may be in the confines of our homes for now, challenges like climate change and biodiversity loss are still happening around us. And, as always, we’re going to take a stand for wildlife.
