James Bolton Public School to celebrate National Sweater Day in style

In honour of National Sweater Day (February 9) James Bolton Public School in Bolton, Ontario will be commemorating the event by creating their own sweater designs and displaying them as a mural to symbolize their collective commitment to “turn down the heat and turn up a sweater”.

The Sweater Mural (2011), by students at James Bolton Public School.

Eco Club students are creating posters and making morning announcements to promote the mural building. Prizes will be awarded on Sweater Day for the best designs. On Feb 9th, teachers will turn down the classroom thermostats and talk about climate change and students are also encouraged to have their families turn down the heat at home.
Are you going to be celebrating National Sweater Day? Tell us how!
